Checkerboard Pattern in Eurobot 2005

The playing field for Eurobotopen 2005 is composed of 2 plaing fields with 5×7 squares of 30×30cm painted browN (mat) or beigE (glossy). This is the basic pattern used for localization.

The two fields are separated by a Blue (mat) ditch. This non-periodic region is used to make the localization absolute (with the exception of center symmetry).
